In NiagaraAX-3.1 and later, an AX station can use the obixDriver for client-side oBIX access of remote R2 stations to mix R2 and AX data together. In the most-anticipated scenario, an Supervisor will be added to a job that already has R2 JACEs and an R2 Web Supervisor, along with additional AX JACEs. A possible eventual goal of the Supervisor is to replace the R2 Web Supervisor. This document focuses on the Supervisor, and notes areas where R2 to AX “switchover” has limitations, or may require additional engineering.
