To add a new slot

To add a new slot, perform the following steps:

1. In the slot sheet view, right–click in the pane.

   The popup menu appears.

2. From the popup menu, select the Add Slot command.

   The Add Slot dialog box appears.

3. In the Add Slot dialog box, enter the following information:

   • Name: type in a name for the slot.

   • Type: Select the component property type from the drop-down option lists.

   • Choose the desired slot options from the Flags field.

4. Click the OK button.

   The slot is added to the slot sheet.

To delete a slot

To delete a slot, perform the following steps:

1. In the slot sheet view, right–click on the slot that you want to delete.

   The popup menu appears.

2. From the popup menu, select the Delete command.

   The slot is deleted.
