McQuayDevice is the “device-level” component in a McQuayNetwork, and represents a specific McQuay MicroTech controller. It
contains the two-part network address (L2 and L3) necessary for the driver to communicate with the device through the McQuay
OPM. A McQuayDevice has a Points device extension (McQuayPointDeviceExt) that contains all proxy points for polling.
A McQuayDevice has the standard device component properties such as status and enabled (see “Common device components” in the Drivers Guide for general information). The default view for a McQuayDevice is its property sheet. For more details, see McQuayDevice.
