Common report and log tasks

The following procedures describe some of the common tasks related to working with reports. For more specific details about creating each type of report, refer to "Using shortBrandName Reports". Some of the common report-related tasks include:

• Creating a report
• Saving a report
• Viewing the eas Summary Page
• Accessing the eas log page
• Viewing individual eas logs

Creating a report

1. Select the report type from the appropriate link on the shortBrandName home page. The eas servlet in the server will feed the empty template to the browser.
2. Select data points to analyze.
3. Define parameters such as time periods, normalization methods, etc.
4. Run the report. The values in the profiling database that match the defined parameters are processed, and the filtered data populates the report view.
