The Status property of a network indicates if the driver is capable of communications—for any configured driver, network Status is typically “{ok}.” However, when adding some networks, the initial Status may be fault, as shown in Figure 9. This might mean a communications port is yet unassigned, or there is a port conflict.
A fault status also occurs if the host platform is not properly licensed for the driver being used. If a network fault, see the Fault Cause property value for more details.
